Chateau Ste. Michelle Celebrates the Holidays with Seasonal Events and Experiences

Washington’s founding winery, Chateau Ste. Michelle, is gearing up for the holiday season with several events and experiences offered at its picturesque Woodinville winery, located just a short drive from Seattle.

Among the experiences on offer are the winery’s popular outdoor igloos in the sunken garden, complete with comfortable seating for up to 5 people. The 2.5 hour elevated experience includes a selection of wine, curated snacks, and s’mores to roast over an open fire pit. New this year, the Igloo Village will also include a large 10-person igloo in addition to the 5-person igloos, creating the perfect opportunity to host groups of all sizes. For the second year, Chateau Ste. Michelle will also be hosting a two-day Wine & Joy Holiday Weekend on December 16 and 17 to celebrate the holiday season. The festivities include food trucks, mulled wine for purchase, fire pits, wine pairing stations, indoor live music, Sunday brunch, and more. Guests will be encouraged to bundle up and enjoy the winery’s outdoor grounds adorned with holiday lights and décor from early November to mid-January.

In the winery’s Tasting Room, guests can also browse a selection of unique holiday gifts or take advantage of pre-wrapped items such as holiday cocktail kits and brunch boxes.

In addition to seasonal rotating wine flights, the Chateau Kitchen led by Executive Chef Michael Jordan will be offering a selection of seasonal dishes and charcuterie, available daily. Chef Michael will also be hosting a Fall Harvest Dinner on November 17 to commemorate the end of a successful 2023 harvest.

Bubbly Beats Holiday Pop Up | $30 per person
Located within the Chateau Ste. Michelle tasting room, this Bubbly Beats pop-up celebrates the holiday season with wine and music pairings. Vintage records display QR codes with Chateau Ste. Michelle curated Spotify playlists and pairing recommendations, plus a “push for bubbles” button creating the perfect photo-op with friends. Enjoy a tasting of four Domaine Ste. Chateau Private Igloo Experience | Starting from $275
Redefine your Chateau experience and indulge in your very own private outdoor escape in one of Chateau Ste. Michelle’s waterproof igloos. Igloos come complete with comfortable (and warm!) seating for up to 5 people in a semi-private spot in the winery’s sunken garden, two bottles of Chateau Ste. Michelle wine of your choice (from a pre-determined list of options), and a charcuterie board. Outdoor lawn games are also available for your enjoyment by request, and additional food and wine options are available for purchase. Fall Harvest Chef’s Dinner | November 17 | $150 per person
Celebrate the fall harvest and the changing of the seasons with a special chef’s dinner at Chateau Ste. Michelle on Friday, November 17 from 6:00-8:30 pm. Indulge in the comforts of fall with a family-style dinner prepared by Executive Chef Michael Jordan. Each course will be expertly matched with wines handpicked to pair perfectly with each selection. Wine & Joy Weekend | December 16-17
It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Chateau Ste. Michelle is getting into the holiday spirit with a Wine & Joy Weekend! On Saturday, indulge in a self-guided tasting and tour that will take you to different stops around the winery’s beautiful grounds (all decked out for the holiday season), while holiday-themed tasting stations will allow you to enjoy a small bite perfectly paired with a Chateau Ste. Michelle wine. Afterwards, the tasting room will offer extended hours from 5:00-6:30 pm for live music!

On Sunday, join the Chateau for brunch and holiday movies, perfect for the whole family! Wine will be available by the glass and bottle for purchase as well as food from the Chateau Kitchen. Reservations for the self-guided tour and Sunday brunch are available at ste-michelle.com.

Friday Night Music Series | Free admission
Visit the winery select Friday nights this winter to enjoy live music performed by local Seattle-area musicians. Wine will be available for purchase along with bites from the Chateau Kitchen food menu. Enjoy great music, great food, and more importantly, great wine! Seating is limited and first come, first served. All ages welcome.

BLEND Experience | $150 per person
This unique, hands-on experience takes you through tasting five different wine varietals from Chateau Ste. Michelle’s award-winning vineyards, learning about each as you go.
