Nicolas Feuillatte created Palmes d’Or as a tribute to an unforgettable woman, a world-famous opera diva. He attentively courted her for years, flying around the world to catch every one of her performances. This diva loved black pearls more than anything else in the world. So Nicolas Feuillatte created a special Champagne to pay homage to this beauty, naming it Palmes d’Or, and presenting it in a unique black bottle with thousands of indentations delicately chiseled into its surface—each one capable of holding a black pearl.
