Columbia Crest Featured at the 64th Annual Tony Awards Official Talent Gift Lounge

New York, NY

Some of the brightest stars of television, film and stage came out on Sunday, June 13 during dress rehearsal and the live airing of the 64th Annual Tony Awards to participate in the Official Talent Gift Lounge backstage at Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY.

As a contributing sponsor of the gift lounge, the Columbia Crest Winery table was one of 10 tables that celebrities visited as they entered the backstage green room. Each celebrity was gifted with a commemorative bottle of the 2006 Walter Clore Private Reserve Red wine –etched with “A Toast to the Best” exclusively for the 2010 Tony Awards, a set of Riedel glassware with the Columbia Crest No. 1 Wine logo, a branded Laguiole corkscrew, and an invitation for a year membership to the Columbia Crest Summit Reserve wine club, as well as a private tasting offer with the winemakers when visiting Washington.

Columbia Crest presented gifts to more than 30 celebrities, media and Tony Awards show producers throughout the 16-hour event. Tony Awards show host, Sean Hayes; Broadway legends Angela Lansbury, Bernadette Peters, Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth; contemporary film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Scarlett Johansson, Helen Mirren and many more visited the backstage green room and gift lounge.

Celebrities, including Stanley Tucci, Justin Bartha, Kristin Chenoweth, Tony Shalhoub, David Hyde Pierce, Chris Noth, Antonio Banderas, Matthew Morrison and band members of Green Day all expressed their gratitude for the amazing wine gift package and gave their congrats to Columbia Crest on their recent #1 wine acclaim, appropriately calling it "the Tony Award of the wine industry."
