Sharing Joy, Sharing Meals: Columbia Crest Donates to Food Banks across the Country

Paterson, Wash.

Columbia Crest has Donated Approximately 2,800,000 Meals to Food Banks in Four Years

Just in time for the holiday season, Columbia Crest Winery is participating in the Sharing Joy, Sharing Meals program at retail stores nationwide, continuing the winery’s commitment to feeding those in need. This is the fourth year that the winery will donate to food banks across the country. Columbia Crest will donate up to $75,000 in 2014 and has donated $400,000 to food banks over four years (approximately 2,800,000 meals served).

Columbia Crest has also partnered with Alouette® Cheese to create special holiday food and wine pairings for gourmet holiday gatherings this season. People can look for displays with holiday product offers for both Sharing Joy, Sharing Meals and Alouette® Cheese at participating retail stores across the country through December 31, 2014.

About Columbia Crest
Founded in 1983, Columbia Crest has grown from a small winery in a relatively unknown wine region to one of the most significant wineries in the U.S. and a major force behind Washington State’s emergence as a world class wine region. In 2009, Wine Spectator magazine named the Columbia Crest 2005 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon the No. 1 Wine in the World on its Top 100 list, the first time a wine from Washington State has received the ranking. More information about the winery can be found at columbiacrest.com.
