Chateau Ste. Michelle Named Wine & Spirits “Wineries of the Year” for the 21st time!

Woodinville, Wash.

Wine & Spirits magazine named Chateau Ste. Michelle as one of its “Top 100 Wineries of the Year” for the 21st time, making it the most honored American winery.

The magazine article highlighted Chateau Ste. Michelle's wine quality and consistency, particularly with white wines. “Founded 81 years ago, Chateau Ste. Michelle’s history in the Northwest and in the pages of this magazine (21 years as a Top 100 winery) is an unparalleled achievement for an American winery. This year it sets the pace with new styles for a broad range of whites.”

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates president and CEO Ted Baseler credits talented winemakers and decades of vineyard research and cellar innovation for the recognition of Chateau Ste. Michelle’s consistent quality.

“To be named Wine & Spirits most awarded American winery is truly an honor,” says Ted Baseler. “It is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our winemaking team as well as our ongoing investment in our vineyards and cellars.”
