Chateau Ste. Michelle Celebrates Pride Month as Presenting Partners with Seattle Pride & PrideFest Supporting the LGBTQIA+ Community
Woodinville, Wash.
Chateau Ste. Michelle is honored to celebrate Pride Month as a presenting partner of Seattle Pride and Seattle PrideFest, and their community festivities this June. As part of the partnerships, the winery will participate in the Seattle Pride Parade, showcase wine in the PrideFest alcohol gardens, and offer an interactive booth at Pride in the Park. In addition, Chateau Ste. Michelle will host a Pride Night Out dinner and drag performance at the Woodinville winery on June 30 and will donate wine to the Queer/Pride Music Festival.
The Seattle Pride and PrideFest festivities celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies with events designed as a community-wide show of support for mutual respect and equal human rights for all.
“Creating an inclusive environment where everyone is accepted for who they are – whether an employee, consumer, or member of the community, is incredibly important to me and to Chateau Ste. Michelle,” says Shawn Conway, President and CEO of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. “These partnerships represent our support of the LGBTQIA+ community – within and beyond our Seattle stomping grounds. As leaders in the Washington wine industry, we want everyone enjoying our wines or visiting our winery to feel safe, welcomed, and supported.”
