Domaine Ste. Michelle Introduces Sparkling New Look

Woodinville, Wash.

Domaine Ste. Michelle, Washington state’s largest sparkling wine producer, recently introduced new packaging for its five styles of sparkling wine in 2009. The first wine to bear the new label was the Brut which released in January.

“The new packaging incorporates celebratory elements such as gold foil and filigree, which is consistent to what consumers are looking for in a sparkling wine package,” said Kirsten Elliott, Associate Marketing Manager for Domaine Ste. Michelle. “The bold and contemporary design also speaks to the heritage of Domaine Ste. Michelle, and reflects the quality of the wine in the bottle.”

Domaine Ste. Michelle offers five distinctive styles of wine including Blanc de Blancs, Brut, Blanc de Noirs, Extra Dry, and its Luxe vintage sparkling wine. The wines are nationally acclaimed for offering high quality wines with superior value. Winemaker Rick Casqueiro crafts these wines from premium European grape varieties grown in Washington state’s Columbia Valley using the classic méthode champenoise – the labor-intensive secondary fermentation that takes place in the bottle.

Shipping of the new packaging continues through the fall, with the release of the new Blanc de Blancs label.

Domaine Ste. Michelle wines are available nationwide and retail for $12.00.
