Cold Creek and Canoe Ridge Estate Vineyards Earn Salmon Safe and LIVE Certification

Woodinville, Wash.

After a rigorous two-year certification process, Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Cold Creek and Canoe Ridge Estate vineyards have earned third-party sustainable certification for LIVE and Salmon Safe. The Washington state winery will add the LIVE and Salmon Safe certification on its Cold Creek and Canoe Ridge Estate single vineyard wine labels beginning with the 2009 vintage wines.

Columbia Crest Expands Popular "Two Vines" Tier with Pinot Grigio

Columbia Crest, Washington state's leading producer of premium wines, has announced the addition of Pinot Grigio to its popular Two Vines tier of wines. The 2009 Two Vines Pinot Grigio, which is available in 750 mL and 1.5L formats, will ship in May 2010 and will be available nationally for a suggested retail price of $8 for the 750 mL format and $13 for the 1.5L format.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Announces its 2010 Summer Concert Series

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville will kick off its 27th summer concert series on June 12th with a performance by Crosby, Stills & Nash. Tickets for the winery’s concerts will go on sale Saturday, April 24th at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets or online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Chateau Ste. Michelle wine shop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Riesling Rendezvous Grand Tasting July 11th to Feature 70 Wineries from Around the World

Woodinville, Wash

Wine lovers will have an unprecedented opportunity to explore the finest Rieslings from seven countries and six U.S. states at the Riesling Rendezvous Grand Tasting Sunday, July 11, 2010. Hosted by Chateau Ste. Michelle, the leading North American Riesling producer and Dr. Loosen, the famed German Riesling estate, the Grand Tasting will be held on the grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle in Woodinville, located 15 miles northeast of Seattle, from 5-8 p.m. Winemakers from Germany, Alsace, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Michigan, Washington, Oregon, California, New York and New Jersey will be on hand to celebrate the versatility and enjoyment of Riesling. In addition to showcasing their finest Rieslings, many winemakers will bring a “surprise wine” from their winery to share. An array of Riesling friendly foods will also be featured.
